I am looking for a kayak fishing partner. My values when it comes to fishing are:

1. I try to fish sustainably and therefore I release most of the fish I catch.

2. I try to use only barbless hooks.

3. I pick up trash left by others and try not to leave any trace at the places where I fish. Nature
preservation is important for me.

4. If possible, I work towards fish habitat preservation and restoration.

5. I like learning about nature more than learning about gear.

6. I do not smoke nor drink.

I am looking for a fishing partner for the following reasons:

1. Safety: I would like to explore waters (ocean and rivers) where it would be safer to have a partner.

2. Social aspect: it is nice to have a like-minded companion during multi-day fishing trips.

3. Cost: carpooling, splitting the cost of food, accommodation, etc. is part of the sustainability and
resourcefulness.

I live the Columbia River Gorge but I would like to explore waters in Oregon and Washington in general.

Send me a pm for more info. Thanks.

Let them spawn - catch and release.

I'll fish with you. Just shoot me a pm when you wanna go. If I can make my schedule work, I'm all about it.

You had me at "long walks on the beach and foreign films"     ;D ;D ;D

Been hitting the lower Columbia for years from bank or boat and now wanting to try the Kayak.     If you know the waters above Bonneville Dam then would look forward to fishing with you this summer when I am down there.
I used to think that Bigfoot might exist. Then I saw the reality shows where they are looking for them.  Now I am certain they don't

I live close by.  Give me a pm when you are thinking of heading out.  Walleye and Sturgeon should be good if we get some warmer weather.

+1, there are a few of us in the PDX area that try and head out just about every weekend. We generally like to eat the fish we catch, so if you're cool with that you can tag along.
