"Well assumably this is where I start my "introduce yourself" so I can start lurking on everyones forum posts so here it goes:

My name is  Kevin, and seem to be already a problem starter for this forum before I was even a member.
The main issue, I believe was addressed however to make it clear
I am a veteran
I did serve overseas
I did have a very awesome job
I was very lucky to come out with fingers and toes
now that that's taken care of
I grew up in Alaska most of my life mainly in anchorage, however was very fortunate to have gotten to travel all over the state
I have lived in MANY other states for periods of longer than 2 weeks, however I claim arizona to be my only other main contender due to length of stays.
I used to fish... alot but when i joined the military most time was spent finding other activities to waste time and money on
I want this to become a very routine thing again as it is very relaxing and turns to fun when you get a good catch on the line
I moved to oregon after being medically and honorably discharged having never lived here i was venturing out to a multitude of hiking spots much to the dismay of my doctors and physical therapist and surgeon
I have not been here long and am looking forward to learning all there is to know about this state, about this sport, and about my newfound fishing buddies.
Thank you all for reading and wish everyone luck this season
dont break a leg though cause all you hobie lovers would have a very rough time getting back to your truck and onto the kayak haha
laughter is medicine

Thanks Noah and everyone for the responses
I am positive you are correct
Also it is a right to everyone to have freedom of speech
Hopefully whatever bad experienced caused this for this person unveils itself and gets resolved in its own respect
Put a bigger reply in the sturgeon page

And if anyone took offense
I want a hobie as one of my future toys too
Soo no harm implied ;)

Yup that would be me. Unfortunately I couldn't make it our last Saturday but I'm glad you guys got into 'em.
Looking forward to meeting you in person
By the way, good choice on planning for a Hobie. You won't regret it. :)

Best upgrades were roof racks and the hobie outback. LOL.   I actually have a 04 STi since Aug '03, but kept the name from the other forums.

Welcome!  I must have missed the drama.  Searching ....

... Ah ... That's not drama - that's a minor kerfuffle.  You should have witnessed some of the rec.crafts.brewing knockdown drag out fights about hopping levels and what's a REAL IPA. We had folks tracking down other folks in the real world.  And the fights that went on at alt.smokers.cigars - Lordy!

So, again, welcome redwire (love the handle) this shit is additive.  Very nice sturgeon and I'm a little jealous as I've been looking for my first dino for a number of years.
