I have a Trident 13' and a big OK Zest. I love 'em...but I long for a Revo!

So I LOVE  my OK Prowler Big Game, it is as stable and rock solid as they come. But when it comes to long distance paddles I am left in the dust by the hobies.  My OK BG is like a huge SUV with mudtires, perfect in certain situations and a pain in others, but if it can keep me out of the drink in rough weather, then I'm ok with being a little slower.  That and the fact that I paid about $1000 less.  I've never been fast, I was an offensive lineman through high school and college, so strength and durabilty have always been my trademarks and in that regard my big game kind of suits me.   I'm not afraid of a long paddle and i have the massive shoulder muscles to prove it  ;)  That being said I would love to have a Hobie, and as soon as I get an extra $2000 i'll have my sports car to go with my off-road truck.
It's not the destination, but the Journey that makes life interesting!

You will love the workout a Pro Angler gives you hoisting it on your roof rack. I will be selling one of mine with a brand new hull in a few weeks.  Hobie is sending me a new one due to a defective scupper drain hole.

I didn't think the Prius could hold the weight of a pro angler! I transport my outback on my Prius and I feel the roof rack is getting close to max capacity.

well I bought an outback and a revo 13 last month, after a couple trips I knew the outback had to go back and get swapped for another revo. so yes I have had regrets ;D can`t wait for the other revo to get here. I found the outback to be to much of a "tank". both have the turbo fins. the revo`s stability for myself and the daughter is just fine. I highly recommend the kayak shed in hood river, awesome peoples to work with!!

I have both an Outback and an Adventure.  One thing where the Outback really shines is warm water fishing in the summer.  The built in cup holder is far superior to the one on the front of the Adventure.  I have never spilled my beer on the Outback.  Can't say the same with the Adventure.  Maybe the Revo's is a better design than the Adventure.

LOL craig you are really judging the adventure by its cupholder  :D

The cup holder is a very important feature.  When I first got my wife a Revo 11 she took a look at it and complained that one of the cup holders was to small for anything.  It quickly became one of her favorite features when she realized that it fit a bottle perfectly.

Yes this one.
That's a Hobie Classic. I had one before my Revo, fun, light fast boat but not nearly as good a fishing platform as a Revo.
