For those of you in Central Oregon, there is an upcoming kayak fishing event in Bend at the end of June.

Fishing Clinic & Launch Party for the Old Town "Predator"
Date:   June 27, 2013
Begins:   05:00 PM
Ends:   08:00 PM
Location:   Tumalo Creek Kayak & Canoe, Bend, OR

Join us on Thursday, June 27 from 5 to 8 p.m. as we present one of the most advanced fishing kayaks to hit the market in years. Old Town's latest project, The Predator, is the result of several years of research and development, and just may change the way you fish and experience your local waterways.

The Predator is a feature rich, fully customizable, super stable kayak that is completely designed around the needs of the avid angler and weekend warrior alike.

We’ll have experts from Johnson Outdoors' Pro Staff, Kayak Fishing Magazine, Scotty Paddlesports and the NorthwestKayakAnglers Admin team.

We'll get hands on with you as we go over how to rig up you next boat, advantages and disadvantages of various types of equipment and talk about what might be the best kayak for where you fish and play.

Come early in the evening and test paddle the Predator Kayak. Then, at 6:30 p.m. we'll take things inside to talk shop, share stories and learn more about outfitting these unique crafts.
