Beautiful morning;

Pod of whales, a deer, hand full of agates, 1- 19" cabby (C&R) 3- greenling (one teal/green) 3hrs fishing

Beautiful fish! Sounds like these were from shore, yes? Nothing beats a fun morning fishing... makes the rest of the day/week/weekend seem so much better.

Looks like a beautiful spot. It's funny how that blue meat turns white when it hits the frypan.

Looks like a beautiful spot. It's funny how that blue meat turns white when it hits the frypan.

Thanks. Yes it is from shore. Tide timing is important. It's a blast.

It is kind of cool how the meat gets that color. I wonder if it is genetic or diet. Yes it does cook up white and delicious.

As far as I know, there are two species of greenling, kelp,and rock. I believe the rock greenling have the blue meat. If anyone know different, please set me straight.
