If I get the opportunity to try it out, I'd be more than appreciative and it just so happens, I enjoy beer too!

We can certainly get you on the water!......just beware......you will be hooked! Last July was my first kayak fishing experience, I didnt catch fish but was immeditely hooked on the sport.....8 months later I now have 2 boats and just itch to get out everyday.

I'm fully prepared to be hooked! Something about the self-sufficiency of a yak, I'm drawn too. I thought I wanted a PB for a while, until a buddy let me borrow his 24' Duckworth to use a Buoy 10 this past Labor day... then there's the Pontoon, but doesn't seem like a craft I'd want to troll from due to the constant oar. But yet, I'm still determined to get on the water as Kokes are just not easily accessible from the banks near me.

Well....Sounds like we are hitting Dorena lake in Cottage Grove instead guys... Sorry but fishing conditions on Dexter just suck at the moment. The GF and I went out yesterday, paddled/peddled all the way up to the dam. Fished every spot I know with everything I had......couldn't touch a fish! Apparently nobody else out there couldn't either. Water is really murky and dirty from the run off......But according to browneyesvictim we should be successful at Dorena for both bass and nice size trout. Jeffit....... if you are still in I can meet you at the bridge........text or call me 541 968 4157 as I will be helping the pops move all day today.

I gotta count myself out this trip, Cottage Grove is just a bit farther than I want to travel to be there by 8:00. Wish you all the best success and hope to see pics soon.

Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

You're spot on Mark, however, I'll make up for it by hitting Silverton Reservoir again tomorrow... And it's only 25 min away :)

There was no fish love to be had at Dorena, but it sure was a blast on the water! Even though it was drizzly, it was like paddling on glass out there. There were fish all over the finder, but at 43' water temp they just weren't biting.

Oh.. and it was just my son, my nephew and myself that showed up! :-\
