I'll probably meander in around 11. I'm going to the George Straight concert the night before.

I never took you for a country music guy langston.

The beard does disguise his mid-west, Budweiser drinkin, corn field partying roots, but there is still plenty of ingrained redneck buried inside that Hood River kayak Bum persona  ;D

The proverbial Hitch in the plan.  Talked to a couple of fish checkers today.  Most of the fish being caught, are in the extreme lower Willamette and the Columbia. Some have been checked in Sellwood area, but Cathedral Park and lower seems to be the place to be.  To be honest they said "all of the fish" but we know Jammer has been successful around George Rogers.

Just a little information to muddy the waters. Talk amongst yourselves.

Thanks for the info! I've only fished Cathedral a couple times and would like to learn the area better...

I am going early and I will fish until I drop. I wanted to fish the lower river and I was even thinking about the Columbia. I have never fished the Columbia from a kayak but saw some guys doing it last year where the Columbia and Willamette meet and it seems to me that would be really good but I am not sure where they launched from. If nobody is going to fish there, I would be more than happy to meet up at Cathedral.

I'll be beating the bushes out at cathedral too.  probably get there@ 7-8am and fish toyota hole for sturgeon until the tides are right for a little trolling action.  going to be a great day for it!   First time doing both activities there.  Probably anchor up by the barge and try my luck there for sturgeon. I'll look for a little guidance on trolling locations though.  Let's go fishin' !!!

We couldn't get the Springers to bite on Saturday but we did manage to land a few Sturgeon. It was a good day to be on the water.
