Cool stuff! Nothing better than seeing an aggressive fish strike.

  Great stuff Jeff and Brian,

Definitely need to tweak your's a little Jeff. You'll get it soon I'm sure.

Wish I could have found some biters like that today on the Colombia...alas... no love for me or daveo or John.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

Mark, that's not my video.  It's just one I found on YouTube a couple weeks ago.    It is educational to observe the strikes.

That's bad ass Jeff! I've been thinking of ways to do something like this too with either my hero 2, or my old school standard def GoPro that takes AAA batteries.

Thanks for the video.

And since I don't have one - will any of the GoPros (with the proper housing, of course) take this type of underwater footage?

Yes,  the trick is getting the camera to face the right way and getting it close enough to the terminal tackle to see the action.

Yup.  It's just a matter of considering things like how deep you're fishing(within the rated depth of the housing), how you rig the camera up to troll, how clear the water is, etc.
