Anyone plan on heading out this weekend? I'm thinking about Sunday Monday if the weather is good. Christmas came early and I just got my LSS2 module for my Lowrance and I want to go test out the structure scan feature. Rudy are there any halibut this time of year?

They catch halibut year round. Can't remember if season closes. But it's rare and they are small. I may try Saturday. Not sure yet.

Hi guys...my name is Eric.  I recently moved to Anchorage from Southern California where I used to fish the kayak off San Diego.  Anyway I am thinking about  giving this Winter Homer king fishing a try on Saturday Nov 8.  I'd love to meet any of you if anyone else is going.

If I get any more serious about Saturday, I will put up a planning post.  Aw heck.  Maybe I will anyways.  I'm ALWAYS too busy to go...but looking back at my logs (dang logs! GF can seem them too) I seem to have gone pretty much every weekend for the past few months.  lol.

Aw heck.  Why not.  I'll start one....
