I have almost the full set of Emmrod handles and rods, but haven't used them in some time. While, yes, they work, so does a beer can and string.

While I haven't yet tried my emmrods, I have both set up with bait casting reels and good line.  I cannot wait to try them because they feel so darn well-balanced as a kayak fishing rod.  I've struggled with short rods that have fallen off in the surf while launching or coming back in and have gotten full of sand and gravel, taking an emergency rinsing while out on the kelp beds just getting ready to drop a jig.  These emmrods look to me like the one option that I won't worry so much about as long as I've got the right tether on them and the right combinations.  Anybody out there with some extended experience?

No .....
Have you tried the pocket fisherman? I am really impressed with how well it fits in your pocket. Definitely a quality product you should look into.
FYI ... I have some beautiful ocean front property for sale as well. I think you would really like to fish there. It is located in AZ and I can get you a great deal on it ... but only if you act fast.

Stay thirsty my friend.
