OK, been busy.  Yes it was a good day.  Hooked but lost what I believe was a halibut.
That sounds familiar :)

Limits on sea bass for myself and u believe everyone else that launched with me. "Effect" did good and still needs to pop the huli cherry he went sideways but rode it like an old salt and stayed upright, it might take him getting cocky in order to roll in the surf.  Just finished cleaning "CSI" PC off the tuna.

CSI PC - haha! I love it.

Yes, it was a good day at PC!

FYI, the sheriff lectured me a bit when I returned to my vehicle. I have no kayak cradles on the roof, just bar pads, and my "Kayak Launch Vehicle" sign on the dashboard wasn't easy for him to see from his truck. Next time I'll tape signs to front and rear windows.

Oooohhhhh nooooo, you actually made him get out of his truck? And he didn't arrest you, damn lucky there! Jk..... If tow would let me I would get small white vinyl letters to stick to the back window.

I know!  It's happened before.  Big heavy head shakes that felt like nothing I've hooked before.  My rod bent down and I thought it was going to break.  Maybe one day I'll land a big flatty out there.

I have a vinyl plotter collecting dust in my office- i could run off a couple of small font size decals to see what they look like?  I have to dig out the software and load on my new computer.
