No anchor. Have used one in the past, but now I prefer to be mobile. It helps for chasing the schools around too. Pedal kayaks have a massive advantage there. Lots of boats and bankies with lines out. You can hold your rod while pedaling to muscle the fish into more open waters. They don't always like being bullied though Pretty sure DP got vid of me dealing with one like this. Maybe he'll post it later.

Killer! I'm thinking of taking a trip out on Sunday.

Are you chasing any part of the tidal exchange? Or does it not seem to matter?

I'm also looking to head out there on Sunday as well. The only thing that might stop me is I tweaked my shoulder. If you're interested in riding out together, PM me. I live in the Ballard neighborhood.

Don't know if I did this right. If I shoot video, I need to learn how to post them. I have others, but the cameraman was too bad.

Notice the guy on the rail also has a fish on, hooked in the back. Lot's of potential fish line tangles. I think I stayed away from the fray with my poor aim. I lots the knob of my spin real through the scupper hole and eventually twitched jigs with a bait caster and trolling rod. Float and anchovies were pretty well ignored, but I guess are killers in the right conditions. One boat was floating anchovies. The right equipment and skill make a lot of difference!
