I have a kayak prowler big game that is a massive barge and I make it out there with no problem it's the landings that that can sometimes get year. However, I found it easier to land going backwards and have not had issues as of late

Zach...thanks for the info.  I'm running the PA17t.  I want to be able to Depoe is a no brainer but I would like to launch at PC also.  Guess it's just time to give it a shot.

It's doable and if we have some others show we can team carry it.... 6-8 guys??? Just kidding yes as long as you don't bring the Prius you'll be fine.

Little Cos and I are looking to get out on Sunday too.  However, 4.5' at 9 seconds doesn't sound like a fun entry and exit, especially if it's your first time. Bring your helmets. I could do that a Depoe Bay all day long, but at PC, that's a different story.  Unless things calm down, we are heading to Depoe.

My recommendation on the PA 17 is to only attempt it in the surf on a 2ft swell or less day.  The Pro Anglers were not designed to handle the surf well.

Well it looks like depoe is the place to be. I am new to depoe so it will be fun to learn new fishing grounds. Looking forward to meeting some new people and fishing! I will be there near 530 hoping for a 630 launch.

I skipped depoe this morning...went to the Siletz.  Won't consider myself skunked..as a trout "almost" landed in the yak.  Now headed to Yaquina Bay.  I'm up for Depoe tomorrow morning.
