Any implications for AOTY?  Nice Hat BSteves

AOTY rule #1..

1. All fish entered must be caught from a kayak, without the aid of a powerboat and using methods deemed legal by the state in which they are caught.

Are paddle/peddle hooked fish tracked seperately from mothership hooked fish

I don't know about the official stats. Not even sure if orgs. like IGFA even care about it yet.

IMO they're two completely different ball games. When this is considered a kayak I'll call it kayakfishing.

Quick!  How many off color worm, hardware, jig, stroke, rod etc etc references can you make in 10min or less?
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain

FWIW, Jon doesn't describe himself as a mainstream kayak angler - more like a stunt fisherman. He's not a bad guy in person, kinda kooky in an entertaining way. I think he'd agree he's a big self-promoter - it helps him achieve his ends, which is a life of fishing adventures he doesn't have to pay for.

Oh yeah, the recreated scenes were nothing but cheesy.
