Bummed  :-\  Glad someone got out there, it was as beautiful as I thought it was gonna be. Gotta decide to fix or replace.  No kayaking for me until then. :-(

yep that was me in the Red TI.  I launched around 11 and trolled until 2. Tried to sail after that but wind was pretty meh except for a couple puffs.  There was another yakker out there in a Jackson Kilroy with a trolling motor.  He was doing pretty well and gave me some tips.  I hooked/kept 4 and had a couple other drive bys.  I tried various combinations of weights from 1/2oz to 2 oz, but all hits were with 1/2oz weight an 80 feet on the line counter.  Variety of lures, tipped with green pb and trolled behind various dodgers.  2 were in the 12" range and 2 were smaller in the 10" range.

Center of the lake near Ramp A was where most came from.

I marked a bunch of fish there the last week (went out four times) deep but got most of my bites in the top 15 feet.  I did try 40, 50 and 60 FOW but no luck.  Maybe what I marked were bass with no appetite?  Water temp was the same all week but on the bad weather days I got more bites in the 1-1.3mph range in 0-10 FOW and on the nice days I did better at around 1.6-1.8mph in about 10-20 FOW.  I run two rigs and switch it up a lot in 30 minute increments.  Incidentally, I do about as good in the north end of the lake as I do in the south so far.
Kayaking without wearing a PFD is like drunk driving.  You can get away with it for a while, but eventually someone dies.

Looks like they are stocking again this week.  I may try again either Thursday or Friday.  I need AOTY points.  8)
