I just checked my calendar and social secretary...It looks like I'm clear for a southbound road trip after work on March 7th to fish Sun/Mon. If the weather smiles, anyone care to teach me a thing or two about lings?

BTW, I already know how to chum for my dinner. ;) I'll bring Drammamine too!   ;D

Down south? you mean Down here to fish with the south coast crew?
See ya on the water..

Weather and seas allowing, that's what I'm thinking. I grew up on the salt water in San Diego but failed miserably to find fish on the Sunday following Pacific City last year.

The seas were a bit bigger than on Saturday as Pole, Z and I paddled out just beyond Haystack Rock. I started feeling a bit green and decided to head back in. I guess I looked pretty bad because the other two decided to follow me in as well. It was a good thing as my strength left almost as quickly as my breakfast. Z even gave me a tow back to the surf zone too.

Now I need a fix of FISH ON!

Cool, come on down. we'll get you on some fish. We should be able to get out somewhere. If not Sunset, either "the abyss" or "the cribs".

See ya on the water..

I'm in for that weekend. For guaranteed no motion sickness, I recommend Scopolamine. Have to get a script from the Doc. Use tablets for single day trips or behind the ear transdermal patch for up to 3 days. If using scop, bring lots of drinking water for dry mouth. It's a nightshade extract, so be sure to stay within recommended dosage for the time period. More is definitely not better.
