Nice catches, Chris! Keep fish out deep and you will eventually get that nearshore halibut, hopefully during season!
Thanks Casey! Yeah, I figure it's only a matter of time until I hook a halibut fishing that deep stuff. The Depoe Bay charters seem to hook a few every spring when running rockfish/ling trips. The 7-day a week all-depth halibut season this spring is most excellent too. No more worrying about having to release a May halibut if I have a ling on board  ;D.
