You guys are talking about what I've been waiting for awhile....Finally, a flat ocean (hopefully)thursday!

I'll be putting in at Devils punchbowl 10-11am if forecast holds out.  It's not a bad launch with a small headland to skirt around the surf.  I'll be introducing my nephew to yak fishing will be hitting the reefs around Otter&Gull rocks.
If anyone wants to fish there on Thurs., I'd be glad to share what I know....it can be very productive.

I've fished with PNW in the past and would be cool if maybe I could hook-up some of you guys for fishing later on.  My wife would like it, as this sport is safer when not alone.

Come on guys.  My wife's not gonna like it if I have to hit the beach alone.... or maybe she will?

looks like I'll be there and so will Cephalopodan at least.

My plan is to look for a yurt at Cape Lookout on Wednesday and go from there.  An evening trip on the water may be in the works; we'll see how it goes.  Nice to know some others plan to show Thursday.  Should be fun.  Looking forward to it.

Do you mean an evening trip on the water on Wednesday? I wish I could do both Wed pm and Thurs am. Thursday morning is when I was thinking about getting to the beach.

I didn't realize that they had yurts at Cape Lookout, I'll have to keep that in mind.

O.k. the newbs in.  Never put in on the salt, so someone let me know when and where.  Wife would be glad to know other yakers were going as well.

cool, looks like we'll have a good turnout!
I'm feeling like trying to be at the beach before 7:30 with a splash time of around 8.

Wife would be glad to know other yakers were going as well.

Do you mean who's going all together or is anyone going just to kayak?

Never put in on the salt, so someone let me know when and where.

On the beach launch at Pacific City.

Well, I'm officially out for going to the coast on Thursday.  I was just reminded that my wife has a Dr's appointment in the morning so I'm responsible for getting our son to daycare.

Good luck out there, I'm very jealous.

Hey Crazyhammer.  nephew & I will be putting in tomorrow at Devils punchbowl, about a mile north of beverly.  Looks like winds are going to kick up in the afternoon, so I think we'll be getting there early, about 9.  I read that a 7 rockfish limit takes effect on Friday.
