MasterChief:  Well, nice to see another snipe on the site.  I was a SF/HT in the brown water Navy.  Thanks for your service.  I am NEW NEW NEW, just got my yak however I rented one for a week to make sure I was not getting into something I didnt like.  WOW this old fart fell in LOVE with a Yak of all things.  Have been out on the ocean twice so far, both were bumpy but spent 8 hours in a tournament yesterday in Coos Bay really getting beat up by the ocean but let me tell you, I hung out with the nicest folks you ever want to meet.  NWKA people are the best in my book.  I have also been out on the Umpqua and on a couple of lakes.  I am a retired Fire Captain and now I sell insurance but I am my own boss so I can work when ever I want, and fish whenever I want, ha that is a dangerous work schedule.  Hey I would love to come up when the fish (any fish) are bighting.  I like meeting new people and seeing new areas, and catching new fish.

I am enjoying it so far.  I haven't been out on the "ocean" yet.  Just a couple of times on a protected part of Puget Sound. I'm surprised on how fast I can get going.  Quicker than solo in my old canoe.
