This is my temporary camera mount. Ideally it would be a about a foot farther forward. This mount slips into the mast hole on the hobie outback. Can't recall at the moment if other models have the small mast hole, but they should.

I drilled a hole in the end of the dowel and epoxied a bolt in to screw the cam on to. after the camera was on the large dowel i marked  the hole for the skinny dowel so it would be lined up straight with aim of the camera. I can reach up and turn the camera 360 degrees real easy .

The Kodak playsport camera has a remote control, after i get that i can move it farther forward. It would cool to have the whole pole in the screen

The last pic is sad sorry, haven't taken pics with the gopro camera for a while, forgot how to aim it..

See ya on the water..

FWIW, I have a remote waiting for me to pick up at best buy...

That sucks but thank god it wasn't some 5 bill bad boy.. These got some weight to 'em. I leashed mine to the boat, That's why i was comfortable netting the fish with it tangled in there. It waasn't going anywhere it took me minutes to get it untangled in the end.
