The kayak is a malibu stealth 14, got a message from the shop, and he did think it was supposed to be comming via old dominion...however, it went from the 1st werehouse to a second to be put on a truck to astoria...and now they dont know were it is.  the shop owner is trying to hunt it down.  how does one lose a 14 foot kayak?  i need a cold beer.

Ask them for the Pro number off of the bill of lading. Then you can go to the carriers' website and see where it is.

Last update:

I was able to go down to the Astoria Dive shop were i ordered my kayak today and talk with the owner...i must say,  GREAT experience.

The shipping nightmare is somewhat out of his control, but he has been hounding Malibu for the last week pretty hard, and the kayak will be shipping Monday, due to arrive no later than Friday.

Best part was he picked out one of his Cobra rentals that had the closest ride to the malibu that i ordered and has let me use it until my kayak shows up.  spent the afternoon on Coffinberry Lake in Fort Stevens practicing self rescue and trolling for trout, great day!

Tommorow I'll be hitting sunset beach to give a go practicing surf launches and landings if anyone is in the area.  conditoins are calling for 4 foot at 16 seconds, should be fun!  If anyone is in the area and wants to join, send a PM, or text 541 609 8525

Ordered a couple 0f mini-x's through Wayfair , took twice as long as the 3 weeks they stated . Called customer service and politely bitched about it taking over two months . Seems they were comimg from the factory , showed up within a couple of days only being shipped the day I complained . Think Malibu is just real slow at manufacturing / shipping !

Was likely not a Wayfair issue as a kayak I ordered for my Grandaughter through another maker showed up within a week .
