Yaquina bay 8/29 crabbing and Depoe 8/30 fishing.

All week long I have looked forward to this and now the forecast is looking rough.

Fri: S wind 10 to 15 kt...easing to 5 to 10 kt in the afternoon. Wind waves 2 ft. W swell 6 ft at 8 seconds.

I think I will save the gas for next week.  Thursday may be good.  Sorry guys.  The good news is I am heading north Saturday hoping to sink the catch some pinks.

NOAA.  Magic Seaweed has the little exclamation mark by it.  When you click on it it shows the secondary swell which is 3.5 at 7 seconds.  It is coming from the WSW and will add to the primary.

If I was already out there like you guys I would try it, but driving from PDX on Labor Day weekend only to be disappointed has got me thinking next Thursday would be a better choice...hopefully.
