I'm being followed... :)  Nothing Blair. Well, I did get a perch.  All you can catch.  Several marks and I threw the tackle box at them.  Not sure if the lake is turning over or what.  It's night and day between now and a week ago.  I'll keep at it!

Sammamish had some action today, nothing huge. Bite turned off around noon. Fish were about 20 feet down.

Hey I would rather be out there paddling in the yak than working on those rich Broadmor schnobs houses.

Have you tried the south end of mercer island last few days? I am hoping to get my kiddo out to try for cutties this weekend

I seldom fish south end of Mercer, no great access from any ramps in that end of the lake. I haven't hit it since last spring, and it hasn't been that great when I do get there. Proctor Landing on Mercer is a great launch, good fishing right there. Also Andrews Bay near Seward Park has a good launch, and protection from a south wind. Arboretum is a bit more travel to deep water near the 520 bridge but it was decent before the wind storms of late. Maybe you should try the north end, Juanita point in Kirkland or Sand Point both have good and close launches. You'll want to be close to your truck when the kiddo has had enough fun for the day - been there.

I hauled these two today (released another). They hit the Rapala X-Rap which is almost the same size and color of the bait fish.

Hauled the solo fish a little while back.

Nice meeting you on the water Brad.
what size rapala is that?

Hi, have not been here in a while redfish. That was an X-Rap Countdown 7 but number 5 works well too in Glass Ghost or Olive back.

Ali found a limit of fish on Sammamish today.  :banjo:

More action today. One fellow showed up and caught his first trout from the kayak. Good times.
