This sounds like a pretty cool event. I'll be at GS8 on the 17th, so that date is out for me. How windy is it there around the end of May?

Well I've got a trip locked in for the weekend of May 30, so I'll contradict my earlier post and offer a different opinion on the Memorial Day idea:

A 3-day weekend gives people a lot of opportunities to invest in a tourney that may not have otherwise, and it makes it a holiday event, which is fun. It is true that some people will already have plans with family or travels, but I'm betting there's a lot of people out there like me who purposefully don't plan too much for Memorial Day and Labor Day because campgrounds get crowded, etc., and a day trip for fishing fits a lot nicer into a 3-day weekend than a typical one.

Sounds like a fun tourney. When the date is finalized I hope to join in the fun.
