I stopped by Fisherman's Marine this morning to scope out the tent sale... one of the sales guys said Buoy 10 turned on yesterday, his boat went 6 for 10.

I was thinking about fishing the Columbia this coming weekend, but the creel report from WADFW for Buoy 10  shows this for the first 10 days:  Anglers 384, chinook 9 (8 in the last 2 days) and coho 0... talk about slow !!!  This is bad news for
those who predicted a big run of fall chinook in the columbia.  Guess I'll fish local this weekend, but things are slow around Vashon also. Friend Nathan got a 17.5# king yesterday---one fish in last 5 trips . A little better success at Point Defiance and Point Dalco this week.  I caught only dogfish  Monday evening in Quartermaster harbor, a lot of fish on the depthfinder at 30 feet, apparently all dogs.

You should have gone.  There were boats hooking up everywhere!
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.  --Mark Twain
