Dang BOX, that's pretty harsh...Heal well my friend, i know you have the pain control part taken care of.. ;)

Just when I was thinking about starting to call him "Boxofpain".  But you're right I'm sure he's got the pain management dialed in by now.

You ain't just a woofin'!!!
actually, this is quite mild compared to my last shoulder surgery.
I took 1 Vicodin(1/2 dose) 4 times the first day home from surgery.
Cannabis does the rest. (cannacaps not smoking)
range of Motion will be deminished from 90 degrees to 60 deg., but I can still paddle and will start back at that next week sometime.

thanks for the thoughts my Friends.
the power of the paddle prevails. :D

Man, your doctor really likes you. All of the jacked up stuff I've done to myself and the best I've ever gotten was Tylenol 3 and a couple of Percosets.
Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day...
Teach a man to fish and he will sit at his miserable job all day wishing he was fishing...

thats funny, every where I went, the clinic, the hospital that set the break and the Surgeon all offered me pain Meds. I took the second offer from the hospital being afraid of the pain from re-setting the bones. The rest were declined. Then they tell you how bad the pain is gonna get and try to lure you into taking pain meds. I just laugh and tell them I use Medical Cannabis Caps for my pains, sometimes I get an intelligent inquiry and others that "oh you are a stoner" look. The inquiry is usually from the higher educated Dr's and nurses.
BUT, if my Dr really loved me...he would be signing my Medical Marijuana papers not some clinic I have to travel to.

Good point. I misunderstood and thought the doc you saw for the wrist was the one who gave you the Cannacaps. Funny how there's this "stoner" stigma to medical marijuana, but they'll give you narcotics at the drop of a hat.
