no tendon damage, just shattered most of the bones in my wrist. (old lady like, osteoperosis bones)
I now have a built in, titanium fish club!!! (looks more like a rake or fork though)
I should be paddling again in 4-5 weeks, quite amazing what they can do these days. I was allowed to start driving my truck (stick) after 7 days.
Luck would have it that the 4 day bubble Salmon fishery here opened a few days after I bit it. Perfectly flat and many a biggun caught, I was pissed!!!

If you're back on the water in "a few weeks", you are one Lucky man!

I wish you a speedy recovery!!!!

"I now have a built in, titanium fish club!!! (looks more like a rake or fork though)"  I think you should have gone for the gaff option or had the RAM socket option installed.   ;D

Here's a product to consider when you do finally get back to paddling.  They're called RoRows and are designed by an NCKA member (actually the winner of their last derby).  They are basically little hooks that relieve the stress on your wrists while paddling.
