Interesting PVC rodholders from AquaHunters

Now he's got the rod holders adjustable.  They can be adjusted so the rods are next to your shoulder and no longer behind.  At the least these are good for ideas.

Tried to figure out a way to make the rod holders moveable without making an entire new setup. Used 2 short pieces of 1" pvc to make a sleeve to fit inside and a couple of hitch pins. Would have been much cleaner looking if I was sober when I made it the first time! Now I can have the poles angled a little forward or a little to the rear or even remove the arms if I need to paddle and the arms are still in the way. I also made a removeable headrest since I already have 4 extra holders in the crate. Looking forward to kicking back and sailing along a ledge, waiting for a strike! Anybody got any plans for a waterproof stereo?

His pvc setup's just a little over the top for me - but pretty snazzy none the less.  Just drop it into the rear flushmounts and go.

BTW...  saw some picks this morning of a scotty deck mount - mounted sideways on the hull next to the rod pod, just below the hatch. It gets the rod holder out of the way of fishfinder, etc. while keeping it visible and reachable.
