Spot, slow roll or fast roll? Same for fall fish? I like a good slow roll for fallies, but most guys like them to spin tight enough to fit in a garden hose.

I'm far from being an expert but I prefer a tight roll for springers.   All of the fall trolling I've done has been with whole herring on rotators which give a tight spin also.
