A fat triploid rainbow. In Rufus, the little ones are a couple of pounds. The state record rainbow came from the "Roof".

Hey Pisco, are there any good camping locations out there in the winter time?

The only state park that I know of, even close to Rufus, that is open in the winter, is Steamboat Rock.  http://www.parks.wa.gov/parks/?selectedpark=Steamboat%20Rock&subject=camping

Might be a little snow down that way, too.

Some nice bendos posted! Pisco, that is a beautiful wherry! Did you build that from one of Pigmy's kits or plans?
I just realized that, in recent years, my fishing buddies haven't been manning up to their responsibility to bring a camera along to get a bendo shot of me! I can't seem to find one anywhere in my photos!  Dang! I fish alone a lot, too, and I don't pack a "vanity tripod." Oh well...I'm used to this. In my former life as a surfer, none of my top 1,000 really good rides or "moments" were ever captured on film. :(
OK, if any of you want to fish with me, you have to bring a camera along! Just in case i get lucky. >:D

The Wherry is from one of Pygmy's kits, planks only. I already had all the glass, epoxy, and other wood needed.

Got it loaded up this morning. Janni and I are going to meet Noggin Yakker over at the pens.
