I purchased my Kaskazi Marlin about 3 years ago.  The Kaskazi’s are well built and the company is very responsive to questions, needs and recommendations for improvement.  I sold my OK as I wanted a lighter boat.  The Marlin is 15.5’ X 24” and weighs 55#.  The Dorado is also impressive but I wanted to stay with the lighter boat.
Here’s the contact info if you are interested:

Bruce Gibson:   www.venturesport.com    vent929@aol.com  Bruce’s company deals in Surfski’s & Kayaks.  He is the US distributor located in Florida for Kaskazi’s.  Took me 6 months to get the Marlin as he didn’t have the model in stock.  He orders most of his boats (including Kaskazi’s) from South Africa and waits until they have a full container before shipping to the US.  Thus the long wait.

Art Fincham:  www.kaskazi.co.za     arthur@kaskazi.co.za  Art and his wife Tracy own Kaskazi Kayaks and you can contact them with questions on construction etc prior to purchase from Bruce.  Art always responded to my emails.

Steve:     Steve@shipyourkayak.com  Not sure if this is current.  Bruce Gibson would know.  Bruce ships kayaks throughout the US.  He introduced me to Steve w/ KAS.  Steve only delivers kayaks and makes 4-6 trips a year to the west coast.  My shipping was $400 (Florida – Oregon)

I use both my REVO 11 and the Kaskazi.  The Kaskazi is great for paddling and the Hobie for peddling.  You can’t go wrong with either one.  It’s how you want to use the boats.  PM me if you want to discuss or see the Marlin.
