I just picked up a Hobie Mirage Inflatable i-Comfort Seat Pad.  I replaced the stock seat bottom with the new pad, then using the velcro stuck the stock seat bottom on top of the inflatable pad.  Feels comfy on a table, but have not been on the water in a week.  Maiden cruise should be tomorrow for crab and salmon.  Needed to use a soldering iron to widen the peg holes in the new pad.

I am 6'5" and need a taller seat back for my '12 Hobie Outback.  About ready to order this seat from ACK http://www.skwoosh.com/product/VAF1204.html  Anyone have experience with this one?

i'm using that seat in my sport and it works good. I did have to order the replacement adustable hobie pegs from ACK and make two cuts at the seat hinge to install them, but with them in and tightened down the seat is very comfortable, Art

How tall are you UpNorth?  I have the inflatable i-comfort seat pad too, and that makes kayaking pleasurable.  Getting that bullet in my ass 25 years ago, makes sitting still a challenge now days!

I'm only 5-9 but the back of that seat is above my shoulder. I also got metal there but 44 yrs ago.
