2013 Springer Seminar?

OK, looks like there's enough interest to put this together.  I'll post up with a proposed day/date/location soon.  Figure 3rd or 4th week in March with an on the water follow-up in early April when the fish are thick.

No, thank you, Spot. You always have a wealth of information to provide. I'm sure I speak for most everybody on here when I say that it is greatly appreciated.

I'd love to learn some techniques, i've been ingesting as much information as humanly possible on the subject, some on the water training would be great.  I'd love to get some kayak specific techniques.  Never caught a salmon from my kayak (just relocated from the midwest) It would be great to get hands on and meet some other local kayak fisherman.

What topics will be discussed at this seminar, if you don't mind me asking? I'd like to take part for sure, if it's something that is in my interest.

This seminar will focus on fishing for Spring Chinook in the Columbia and Willamette though most of the tactics apply in other large tribs as well.

Specific Topics will include:
- Safety
- Gear Choices (rods/reels)
- Travel Lanes and holding areas
- Standard lures, baits and rigging
- Launches
- Netting

I'll be there.  Any idea of when the on the water portion will be held; I missed out on that last year unfortunate and want to be sure and make it this year.
