Spot's rule #1.. don't springer fish with bsteves.

I've tried for several years to catch a springer out of my kayak with no success.   I've even spent many trips trying to catch a springer with Spot.   But here's the thing, not only do I never catch a springer, but no one catches a springer when I go springer fishing.  Spot will catch a springer one day, invite me along the next day and nothing.  The following day he'll go out without me again and catch two more.

Rev, the picture above has the date and address. It's on Thursday, March 21st at 7:00 pm. And there is no cost (unless something has changed this year compared to last year).
I highly recommend this seminar to anyone who kayak fishes for salmon. The fishing info Mark has in that head of his is worth driving to Hillsboro for.

I've locked down the original post asking about interest in this event so all questions and answers will end up in one place.

Update:
All of those interested in spinning prawns for Springers will be happy to hear that Michael Rischer (Jammer) has agreed to join us again this year!

As was mentioned in the original post, I plan on holding the On-The-Water Clinic the weekend of the 23rd/24th, on the Columbia if water/weather conditions cooperate.

This is an oh so shameless bump for any NW Oregon/SW Washington members who are interested in upping their odds of catching a Springer this year.

According to Barb "BB2fish", this seminar would have been worth $130.00.     But special for you my friends, Thursday only, you'll get it at the low, low price of just .....FREE!

And remember, Hoggs will be open late that day, allowing you to purchase any of the 'must have' gear that Michael and I talk about during the Seminar.
