T2, yep, that's the plan. I like my current HF trailer for the TI but with HOW events I need one that can also carry several more yaks and a Sky Box. Wobbler and I are brainstorming and will post results in a few weeks.

SFHarry--Thanks for the awesome link--great ideas! I'm leaning towards a 17 ft galvanized boat trailer I see on our local used website for $350 and then modify it.

I'm thinking about putting a rod storage space on the floor.  I need to either make it strong enough to park the 4wheeler on or have it removable.

I found this thread for a bolt-together fiberglass shell for the Harbor Freight 40.5"x48" folding trailer.  Lots of great ideas.
