Hi all, new member to NWKA and a very recent arrival to Portland.  Coming from the Kansas City area so primary experience is with bass, crappie, a few walleye, and an occasional wiper.  In case you're wondering that's a hybrid between a white bass and a striper.

Brand new to kayaking.  Had planned on buying one for Lake of the Ozarks but ended up here before I pulled the trigger on one.  Will be reading alot of the posts and learning from you all I'm sure.  Will keep stupid questions to a minimum (or at least try).

Guess that's it for now but thanks to the admins for keeping up such a fabulous site.

One side effect of becoming an NWKA member is the inability to complete simple, day-to-day tasks due to the excessive amount of time spent browsing the threads.

Welcome Moonfisher! I'm new here as well.  I'll have room for a fishing partner on my Cobra Triple while I'm still shopping for a solo yak too. If you'd like to get out and fish/paddle somewhere before you buy yours, let me know.
