Willy springer(s)!

Wasn't going to go today (fishin buddy couldn't make it). What the heck..I'm up.Launched at the crack of 8:30...9:00...tap,tap...(thinking smolt) Bendo!

Couple runs ,net ,bonk...almost like I know what I'm doing (quit shaking!!!) .Go to shore, bleed,text appropriate gloatees,take pictures ,etc.
Head back out ,10 mins later,fish on!! This one had no business staying hooked.Right away I'm at the swivel ...this can't be good...airborne right next to the yak...(I wish I had a video camera).Runs away, came back, jumped halfway into the boat,knocked over my fish finder,stayed underthe boat ,came up,hit the boat headfirst ,knocked the paddle off(it floats!),3 botched attempts at net,bouncing off pilings, finally!(glad I don't have a video camera!)

WOOT!!! Good job buddy kickin myself for not being able to go this morning  sure glad to hear their being caught OH how did the fillets come out? LOL

Looks like you got the REAL firsties!  Good job!  My in-laws are coming in tomorrow so I suggest you all get out there.  The Springer fishing is always the hottest when I am not around.
