Dont forget to renew your Washington fishing license - expires 3/31.  With all the endorsements, mine was $86.55 - ouch!

Ouch. I'll feel your pain later today when I go renew mine.

its amazing how a 25 dollar license adds up when you actually want to use it to go fishing.  Ill renew mine soon, and am bracing to pay what you did

By the time I added up all the crap from WDFW that I'll need want in order to hunt and fish, even before accounting for special hunting permit applications, it was $240.   :o

Might want to forgo a few things, like the small game license, waterfowl permits, and so on.

How many people add the 2 pole endorsement? I wish more lakes like lake Washington and sammamish were 2 polers. I'll probably forgo the endorsement this year...
Thought...

I typically don't get it, but I will this year for fishing kokanee. I like having 2 rods out to cover different water depths which helps me find the fish more easily.

I am going to get a Non-resident WA license this year since I will be up there a few times and it is a pink year.

I am getting a non resident license this year too, so I can target Kokes, pinks and go to Westport.

I don't get it, waste of money.  Am going to be one of the ones later this year fighting for both it and the discover pass to be revoked, along with the removal of Jennings from WDFW. Time to start putting reasoanble fees back into outdoor pursuits.

You may not like it or get it. But others clearly do get it. I don't see why you'd fight to have it revoked if its not affecting you. It's an optional endorsement to fish two rods to those who want it, not a mandatory charge to everyone who purchases a WA license.
Unlike the discover pass which is a joke.

Ya know, Paul, this is one of the few places in the country where you have to have a license to have two rods fishing. You want to stay legislated into obscurity, be my guest, it's a senseless regulation that needs to be off the books.

I was not aware that other places offered 2 rods at no extra cost to the consumer. If I had to choose to pay for the 2 rods or not, I would definitely choose "not". However I'm not a fan of banning the option to fish 2 rods altogether which is what i thought you were saying. :)
