Welcome to the addiction. Love to see more folks from AK here!  The AK contingent is still small but super cool folks with lots of info!

Fairbanks still looks cold!  I managed three trips in March out of Homer so far so we are benefitting from being a little further south than you!  I'm hoping to get up to Harding Lake one day to give it a go.

Fairbanks!  Now that's hardy.  Welcome!  Do you ever get down to Tangle Lakes, or float the Gulkana? I try to get there at least once a year -- grayling fishing mostly on the lakes, and rainbows and salmon on the river.  For many years, the Gulkana was my Labor Day traditional float trip. Didn't make it last year. Blame the lure of silvers in the salt.
