Just an FYI -- the Knik Canoers and Kayakers organization is having their annual paddling safety meeting on Thursday from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in the Wilda Marston Theater at the Loussac Library in Anchorage. I'll attach the flyer below.

It's a good session, and serves as a reminder for important safety lessons that serve us well no matter whether we're venturing offshore in saltwater, flat water or flowing waters. Never hurts to hear it anew every season, especially while we're clamoring for spring to finally show.

Plus: it's free.
