Is anyone headed out fishing this weekend? I was planning on hitting the Sellwood (Willamette)  area one or both days this weekend. Let me know if you are interested or if your heading somewhere else, I could be easily convinced to try another spot, or another species.  (Sellwood is close to my house so if going it alone it is easy and fast)  Either respond to this post or shoot me a PM. Look forward to hearing from you all. I just want to get out and get some lines in the water!

Cheers,

Bernie

I'll be out there with a Buddy Sunday and maybe a couple of hours early Saturday. Location will depend on predicted winds.

3.5 trips for me so far with 1 hook-up/loss and one tugger that let go before stripping line.  I've been using a prototype spinner tied up by Joe at Hoggs Tackle.  I may have him put on a barbless trebble to see if that helps.

I'm hoping to get out on Sunday morning with my son.  Haven't been out since the springer clinic on the water session.  Planning to give the George Rogers area a try...

I'm Salmon fishing Sunday for sure and maybe tomorrow as well.  I haven't figured out where would be the best place to try yet either, so I'm open to suggestions.

KayakBernie,
Let me know where you decide on for Sunday, and I'll meet up with you for sure.

Spot,
Are you planning on fishing the William. or Columbia?

The Columbia closes today as I recall.  It's all about the Willamette and tribs for a while.

Well that easily narrows it down for me, and a good reminder that I have to keep a sharp eye on the regs around here.

I can't fish today, but should be trying for salmon tomorrow.  There was a great aluminum hatch at Sellwood yesterday afternoon, unfortunately I didn't see a single fish.

ndogg,
Are you fishing with anyone yet tomorrow? Maybe you'd want to meet up with KayakBernie and me? If so, we're probably both open to your suggestion on location.
