We just got the new Jackson Cuda 12' Illuminati in today!! This kayak actually glows in the dark although I have yet to test it.  We brought this one in for a customer who likes fishing at night and liked the idea of being more visible on the water.  Can't wait to hear how it works out for him. Hopefully he will post some pics of his nocturnal adventures soon!

Angie, our customer service guru is modeling from the versatile high/low seat.  That seat isn't for the faint of heart and admittedly take some getting used to but it is one of the most comfortable kayak seat out there right now.   Also, I' loving that this boat comes with 3 rod holders!

Cheers,
Derek

Nice!....and the boat looks cool too! Glad to see Angie survived the Grand Canyon kayak trip...bet there's some good stories there.
Be interesting to see how illuminated it becomes and the duration.

I don't see a ring on Angie's finger :)

Is that two separate hatches in the front of that? (The round one and the black one.)

The black one in the very front is not a hatch. It is to put your rod tips in when you lash your rods to the side. I found this was well suited to letting a heavy amount of salt water in my reels and apparently it helps you to find a new way to break the tips of your rods during surf landings.

Very useful feature.

I'm glad to see companies continuing to innovate on kayak design and features.

This is definitely a freshwater only yak.  Can you imagine being out just before or after dark on the big blue on something that glows like a giant biolumiescent squid?   :o

Slap a couple jumbo treble hooks on it and tow it 150 yards behind a big ole boat and see what you can catch :D

And that is why Spot has lived long enough to pass on his genes.  There is a good chance I would have been sperm whale poop in my shiny new glow in the dark kayak.

Here is a cool shot of the Illuminati at night on the water. Not sure I would paddle this one in the open ocean at night with Mr. Chompy swimming around.

I hear if you put a flashlight in the hull they glow really bright.  Cant wait to try it out. Ill report back when I do.

I want to paddle that thing late at night up here on Lake Tapps.   Wonder if a few YouTube videos would emerge about a Ghost Ship haunting the waters of the lake at night ???
I used to think that Bigfoot might exist. Then I saw the reality shows where they are looking for them.  Now I am certain they don't

Ooooooo... I touched it.  It looks better in daylight than I thought it would.  More white than I was expecting.  Could be a great late night Drano steelhead killer.

I'm picturing a glow in the dark skeleton suit to go with it.
