Yea, Simpson Reef is amazing love fishing down there, bummed i had to do some other stuff that day. we need to get a posse to go down there soon, been too long since i fished that area

Nice work Dude! Simpson's is a great place to fish. I'd have been there last weekend, but came down with a cold.  Hope to make it next weekend, weather permitting.

After hearing about the epic day Merz had...all I can think about is getting out in the kayak. I'll be out there this weekend!

I'm down to try the reef if the weather allows. I think I want to soak a crab pot this time, too. I keep saying I'm going to crab and then I never do.

Conditions aren't looking as good now...lame. Curse the wind!! Perhaps the sidekick kit for the outback would allow me to fish crappier conditions?

I'm going anyway. Might have to hit the water early & go toward the lighthouse. Sunday looks like better conditions, Friday worst.

The wind is kicking right now. My girlfriend and I pedaled up the slough last night and the trip back against the wind wasn't awesome. We still had a good time despite the crazy wind. I'm not sure if I'm going to fish in the morning tomorrow. I am for sure fishing Sunset on Sunday. I'm down to meet up...just shoot me a pm. Good luck tomorrow!

Wind is looking iffy for me to make the trip to Sunset again this weekend, and definatley not Simpson.

Dude and I are gonna fish the bay/charleston real early on sunday then fish sunset monday most likely.

So I decided to try my luck this morning. It ended up being pretty decent conditions. I found PNW fishing near the lighthouse. I only caught a decent sized black and a 23' ling that I released. I left before the wind picked up. It was in the low 80s all day! I went on an evening paddle in the bay with my girlfriend. The wind was gone and the water was glassy. She snapped a pic which is now my avatar. It was a great day! I'm hitting sunset bay around 6am. I hope the fishing is better.
