about 6 months ago i met Dudi, "dude" on the forum and AOTY. totally cool woman we hit it off immediatley. After a couple months she decided to try Kayak fishing and really enjoyed it alot. However a few trips trolling for salmon, woahink perch fishing and at sunset  had failed to yield a keeper fish, so far only a couple bulllheads while trolling

Well today changed that! we launched at sunset at about 8 am to beautiful conditions, 1-2 foot swell and light breeze. It just felt like the day to get off the skunk. Well, she proceeded to outfish me big time! her first fish was a smaller black, she was so excited she threw it back without taking a pic for AOTY. Maybe it was karma for throwing back that fish because the next fish she caught was a monster black that tied with me for the third biggest black rockfish ever posted on AOTY(that's my girl). she added a decent greenling and a ling before the end of the day. she didn't lose one jig and even got to see a small whale about 50 feet away. Needless to say she was pumped as was I !

What an awesome day! i'm so proud of her, she is a great student and pretty fearless, she will go anywhere i go pretty much!

also the second female to post a fish on AOTY, first to post multiple fish and the highest placing woman ever! watch out guys, shes coming for ya!

I SEE THE NEXT PICTURE OF THE MONTH!!

posted up a video om youtube. funny things come out of my mouth when im really excited...we laughed our asses off editing that video

That fish is bigger than an Australian Rules football!

I hope she's coming to ORC, we need all the help we can get to beat Jammer.

Nice Catch!  And, that's one heck of a black too!

It's good to know you didn't spend the winter with the curtains drawn, mumbling to yourself in the shop Roy.

Thats a huge black! I think I saw you guys on my way in from baltimore, around 10 or 11 am. I thought I heard some yelling also. Might have been the same time that fish was caught?

I caught a few fish. Took home a ling and a couple nice blacks. Wasn't very exciting after the amazing day i had on Saturday. Spent the whole day down at Simpson reef and caught more fish than I can count. Also caught an octopus. Perfect ocean/weather. One of the best fishing days of my life. Now I'm spoiled.

Nice catch on all accounts. Hope to see you guys again soon. Congrats on the keeper! ;-)

Keep me in mind for including me in the Simpson Reef Posse!

LOL.. Nice work Allen(or other culprit) who put that quote in my sig.

You know, it really didn't totally register to me that those words "hooky thing" actually came out of my mouth until i got home and edited the video.  It took forever, every time that played Dudi and I  would laugh so hard, there would be tears running down our face. If i would have tried to say "jig" the "j" would have probably come out ten times before the "ig" came out.

I have caught plenty of nice fish and had great days on the water but that is by far the most rewarding day i have ever had on the water..

Dude says thanks for all the welcomes ! If work allows she will see you at ORC...

ok fess up, who was it ?
See ya on the water..
