Another chance to demo the new boats! I'll have all the Jacksons up there and there will be many other manufactures attending as well.

Lake Sammamish State Park, May 11th, 9a-5pm

They do have a $5 fee to demo the boats and attend all the workshops but they let you hang out for free. Parking is $10 unless you have a Discovery Pass

I'll be there as well, working the Ocean Kayak booth.  We also will be having an NWKA/HOW presence in the OK booth.

Just curious, is it $5 and you can demo all you want, or $5 per kayak that you demo?  I'll have Thing 2 with me (he's 7).  Would he be allowed to sit in the tank well while I demo (he'd have a PFD of course)?

From what I read, the park is still supposed to be open to public use, so should be able to bring your own yak and launch from the park, right?

I will be fishing 1 mile west of the state park 5 houses north of vasa park. Should be a good day, but going to stay away from the crazy state park and power boaters. Hope to see you out on the water.
