Two more oversize today. A 47", and a 43" (guessing on the 43 because I didn't actually take that one out of the water). Lost a few others   :(

Thanks guys, but I am cursed! I have reeled up every spool burner so far this year, but I have yet to land one under 40". I have had 2 times with legal sized lings right at the side of my kayak (one even in the net, but got out through a hole the big ling made) and I lost them, and 5 other fish on for about 30 seconds that either spit the hook, or broke the line  :( I can't even catch small bait :laughing7: I guess I am just imune to catching dinks ;D

Nice work Kola16 and Rory.  I hit my Sucia Island spots over the weekend with some non-kayak friends.  We fished mostly from the boat.  Fishing was outstanding with plenty of top-of-the-slot keepers and also some oversized, up to a 45 inch, 27 pounder.  Most fish, most big fish and biggest fish I have caught in years there.  Should be plenty left for LingLady (and maybe one for you too Lee.)

Nice reports guys!  You sure do make me jealous.  :-[

DC - Glad to hear the fishing was so good this year!
