Tomorrow is the Puget Sound Ling Opener.

Rory, please don't catch them all tomorrow.

Thanks,

I second that.  I wish I could get out tomorrow, but I both have work and am just getting over a bad cough and should let my lungs heal a bit more before going out.  Please wait until Sunday to fish out the sound.  I'm really excited about how good the forecast is looking for the end of the week!

This is what I could muster on opening day.  30"  Not a pup, but not a monster.  :D

I fished hard thru a tough current.  But I did not fish that smart.  Need a do-over.

Looks pretty "smart" to me. Good job Rory.
Life is short---live it tall.

Be kinder than necessary--- everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Sailors may be struck down at any time, in calm or in storm, but the sea does not do it for hate or spite.
She has no wrath to vent. Nor does she have a hand in kindness to extend.
She is merely there, immense, powerful, and indifferent

You know your problem....you're too smart....least when it comes to fishing;)  Nice Fish!  Chased Halibut Yesterday AM but found none.  Not smart enough, was watching my wife's cousin who has been nailing them last couple season and should of just shadowed Him, seems a little shady though.

I caught what I thought was a seal today because it was taking line so fast, and heading directly for shore (my drag was almost like no resistance and it was set tight :o ). Measured 4 ft. PS ling ;D I also hooked a legal size ling too...

Watch the Big Hammer video featuring CBY on the home page. Glowbug and motor oil are usually pretty appealing to lings.
