Was doing some googling last night and one of the results that came up was this site.

Kayaked for the first time last summer and have been hooked since.  Haven't really fished in 25 years but just started again a month or so ago.

I'm right between Rogers Landing and the Chehalem Paddle launch so most of my time is spent around Ash Island.

Usually in a Pelican 120X but just picked up a Eagle Talon 120 for fishing and a spare boat.

Welcome.  I like your town and its red soil. Good to know that it also has quality fishing.

Welcome. I was thinking to try salmon fishing around there this season. Do you pay to park at those places? That's a great area except for rush hour on 99. Tight lines.

Rogers Landing was $5 last time I checked.  The paddle launch is free and normally you have the place to yourself.  They run a parks and rec rental in the summer so it can get busy on the weekends.

I've seen lots of boats in the main channel anchored up waiting for salmon.  Never seen any caught but there are enough boats that there must be something there.
