I camped out in rain, snow, wind and sunshine for 4 days, got about 10 hours of fishing time in, but was rewarded with a nice little halibut to bring home! It's the earliest I have ever caught a halibut. Just gets better from here!

Great job!  I heard it wasn't easy and polebender said it was entertaining to watch you guys trying to land in the surf.  When I got out Sunday afternoon, it was like a lake!  But of course no halibut!

Shoot we landed in that surf like a couple of pros! I admit I was nervous but made it high and dry. Kenaiguy did too. I was really nervous for him cause he had my halibut on board! It was too easy to just throw it in his crate rather than try and rig something up to keep it in my kayak.
