Howdy!
I found you guys via a link on my main forums at Washington Fly Fishing. I have recently gotten back into fishing and specifically been bit by the Fly Fishing bug. There are tons to of skills to learn and a huge amount of options available, so that should keep me out of trouble.
I love fishing for SRC in the south sound and I have totally been psyched about getting a Kayak, looking at a Native Slayer but came here to assess the many other options and tips. Looks like a superb resource and I plan on getting all the beta!
I live in Tacoma and for the last 30 years have been focussed primarily on hiking and climbing (rock mainly, prefer long trad routes)
I have 3 dogs, one of which is featured to the left and a Chocolate Lab and a Cattle dog/Chihuahua mix.
Good times :)
Thanks again for the resource and the fun times ahead :)
Regards
Dave

Welcome to the forum.  While we are all kayak anglers there are a lot of us with pretty similar interests too.
Injuries and changing priorities have taken their toll on my climbing lately but nothing can beat the feel of looking through you legs at a few hundred free of air.

Hi Dave, welcome aboard.  There are a quite a few guys in our area that love to target the SRCs.  Fly fishing for pinks is also supposed to be a blast.

I love trad and sport climbing too, but lack of a reliable partner keeps me grounded.

Welcome to the madness!

Sounds like somebody is going to be making a trek to NA to check out the PA 12. Lots of good platforms out there to stand and throw line. Shop and demo the kayaks, it's fun in and of itself.

Thanks guys!
Yes climbing is great but the requisite partner and connecting with free days makes it a chore sometimes indeed. Getting out to cast some flies requires just me so that's the draw :)
I am noticing a bigger variety of Kayaks that I realized so it might be a bit of research, although I am more on the impulsive side so once I get tired of looking I will probably just pull the trigger.
Seems Hobies are a hot ticket, but the price seems hot too, so I may have keep my eyes peeled.
Thanks for taking time to pop some replies, I will be browsing all the info :)
Regards, Dave!

Welcome Dave, these guys are very helpful, you'll get good feedback.  I just buy cheep stuff so I probably can't help much.
